The First Ukrainian Yavornytsky scientific workshop

Articles approved in reports of the First Ukrainian Yavornytsky scientific workshop (Dnipropetrovsk, on November 7-8 in 2007) are the basis for the collection of scientific works. The center of attention is concentrated on the identity of the outstanding Ukrainian scientist D. I. Yavornytsky, the low-studied aspects of his national and social identity, a concrete contribution to development of the Ukrainian national tasks. In articles insufficiently developed questions of history of the Ukrainian Naddnipryanshchyna from 16th to the 20th centuries, in particular social, military, political, ethnocultural, church and religious aspects of the Ukrainian past are taken up.

It is intended for scientific and pedagogical workers of higher educational institutions, scientific academic institutions, doctoral candidates, graduate students, students of historical specialties, local historians, teachers and all those who studies history of Ukraine and Naddnipryanshchyna's region.
