Abstract
The author makes an analysis of the idea of the connection between the Moscow autocracy and Orthodoxy and the origin of the Orthodox power and faith from the territories of the Black Sea and the Dnieper Ukraine, as well as the affinity of this idea with the Western European principle "one belief, one law, one king ".
